Frequently Asked Questions

What are your fees?

Individual counseling: $190 for 60 minute session

Family counseling: $250 for 75 minute session

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately, I do not take insurance at this time.

Is everything confidential?

Confidentiality is a key part of the therapeutic process. I will never share any information shared in session without your permission unless there is a risk of harm to self, harm to others, or otherwise required by law.

What types of therapy do you use?

I integrate Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. Psychodynamic Therapy helps individuals uncover the underlying causes of their emotional challenges, fostering deeper self-awareness and lasting change. CBT complements this by addressing negative thought patterns and equipping clients with practical coping strategies, creating a balanced approach to both insight and action.

What should I expect during the first session?

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a safe, supportive space. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and discuss any concerns or questions you might have. This session is not about diving deep right away, t's about building trust and creating a foundation for our work together. I’ll also explain how therapy works, including confidentiality and what you can expect moving forward. The most important thing is that you feel heard, respected, and comfortable as we begin this journey.
